Had an excellent experience with Zen Windows. After having multiple in-home estimates from other custom windows installers, the Zen Windows approach was a breath of fresh air. For one thing, they don’t subject you to an hour-long presentation without getting to the point, which is the actual quote. Jeff, the owner of the company, is very knowledgeable and easy to reach. Tim and his crew were excellent–they even did the installation while I was out of the house on a work call. In short, I cannot recommend Zen Windows highly enough.

We’ve been in our home for 6 years, it’s a 1928 with lots of that old charm you see in homes of the era. The one thing that hadn’t been done by any of the previous owners was replacement windows. Yep, our windows were nearly a century old. Istarted looking at replacement windows this May. Eventually, we had several companies come out for estimates and the whole dog and pony show that goes with that. Lucky for me, our friend recommended Zen windows, then Jeff called me the same day. I did my homework on them too, and was very pleased with what I read. It didn’t take long for Jeff to follow up with an email for our estimate. His final cost for 19 windows was thousands below most of the other companies, and that is with nearly all the bells and whistles. Most importantly though, the Zen process is without the high pressure sales tactics that others try to employ. All in all, we’re very pleased with our new windows, and the whole Zen experience.

Zen Windows did a great job. I obtained multiple estimates before I selected Zen windows and the price and options were the best. One company whose estimate was several thousand dollars more than Zen told me they were selling windows of the same quality, just for more money. They made good suggestions – like making sure the existing window air conditioner unit would still fit with the new window, and frosted glass for the bathroom, but no pressure as to the possible upsell options. Zen was easy to deal with and kept me updated on the status of the windows I’d ordered. The were on time for the installation and installed four windows in a bedroom and bathroom in half a day. They cleaned up perfectly, too. I highly recommend using them, and when we decide to replace more windows in our home, we will definitely use Zen again.
